Jewish Roots
I have always been interested in where my family came from and where their travels took them over time. In 2012, I was able to obtain my matrilineal and patrilineal maps by means of a DNA test. It opened up a whole new world for me. I discovered a completely forgotten chapter in my mother's family that took me back to Iberia and the Spanish Inquisition. This discovery informed my work with the descendants of Spanish and Portuguese Jews.

~ GENEALOGY ~
I have spent the last 6 years volunteering with an organization called Reconectar. The mission of Reconectar is Strengthening the Jewish People through a reconnection between the descendants of Spanish & Portuguese Jewish communities and the Jewish world.
I have corresponded with many members of the page and answered questions about Jewish rituals, family names, genealogy, and DNA tests.
The Converts & I
In 2012 my brother and I did a DNA test to obtain our matrilineal and patrilineal maps. These maps would show us all the places our family had lived from the beginning to the present.
